A Chinoiserie Easter
April 12 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Chinoiserie…shin-was-ree…I know, I had to Google the pronunciation. Anyhow, it’s a fancy word for a style of art originating in European and Asian culture. Usually, the artwork is composed of images including architecture and flower gardens. It is trending now in local boutiques!
We’re going to decopage a 10″ 3-d egg and decorate it with your preferred colors and pattern of paper, ribbons etc… then we’ll put it on a short stem/wooden pedestal. These make the sweetest centerpieces.
It can be a messy project, so come prepared. I’ll provide gloves. We have been collecting different patterns, colors and textures for your project.
This will take place in the barn, with plenty of room and an indoor bathroom to wash your hands.
coffee and cookies provided.
Bring a friend, bring your creativity, take a deep breath!
